Just when you thought swashbuckling was a thing of the past sequel, Walt Disney gives you yet another chance (your third, actually) to hit the high seas again.

Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) must be freed and the most unlikely characters come together to do just that—and more. A titanic battle to the world’s end awaits audiences this summer as Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) ally with Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) to free Captain Sparrow. If sea breeze and travel to the Far East is really more your style, a trip to Singapore is also on the cards. American audiences might fall in love with the cunning Chinese Pirate Sao Feng (played with gusto by Chow Yun Fat).

The final installment of the Pirates series promises to be a cinematic extravaganza for fans and naysayers, delivering more explosive sequences, ferocious fights, and eye-popping special effects, gathering pirates from all over the world to make their last stand.

The movie has a mass appeal to audiences young and old—dads and boys will find it a treat. However, parents be warned: these pirate movies will scare younger kids. Too many skeletons, zombies, and ghost ships can cause nightmares. It contains intense sequences of action/adventure violence and some frightening images. The film does deliver a positive example to children and adults alike about how people can go to the ends of the earth for the sake of their friends.
