Protect Your Baby’s Teeth

Your baby probably has several teeth by
now. Baby teeth are important. They can
affect how the permanent teeth will grow.

Your baby learns by watching you. Set a
good example. Brush your teeth after every
meal. Avoid eating sugary foods. Go to the
dentist for regular checkups.

If you notice any white spots on your
baby’s teeth, take him to a dentist. White
spots may be a sign of decay. Regular dental care starts at age one. Emergency
dental care can begin sooner.
