When actor Jerry O’Connell is at home with his two newborn daughters, he makes sure he’s entertaining for his best audience.
Charlie and Dolly, who are fraternal twins, were born to the actor and his wife Rebecca Romijn this past December. And when Romijn is out working, O’Connell told People magazine he stays at home with the kids.
"I think of myself as a funny guy but nobody thinks I’m funnier than my daughters," O’Connell said. "We have three dogs. If I act like one of the dogs with the dogs, they go crazy."
But animal imitation is only part of the O’Connell at-home variety hour. He also admitted to singing rap songs to the girls to put them to sleep, making sure to edit the curse words.
"At bedtime I softly sing rap songs like Slick Rick or Biggie Smalls – without the curse words," O’Connell said. "I have favorite little bedtime nighties I put them in that say, ‘I love Project Runway.’"
Are there more children on the way? O’Connell said no and that his wife has remarked that "the factory is closed."
